Marcel
Marcel was one of the homeless children who lived with Gaspard. He used to sell newspapers in the streets of Paris. Marcel also became Remy's friend. Like Remy, he is also an animal lover. In Episode 16 of the anime series, Marcel found a lost white kitten while returning home from work. He took the kitten and named it "Shiro," which means "white" in Japanese (NOTE: Shiro is not the original name of the lost kitten. Its real name is Chocolat.). The cute kitten stayed with Marcel until it was found by its real owner. In the end, Marcel and the other children that were once forced to work by Gaspard were adopted by the real mother of Remy: the kind, wealthy English lady, Mrs. Milligan.
