Sorunaru

Sorunaru is the third of a trio of Galaxy Police operatives employed by Mashisu Makibi to restrain members of the Jurai royal family, so that Misao Kuramitsu could be able to ‘rescue’ Mihoshi Kuramitsu and kill Tenchi Masaki. He, along with Baguma and Fujimasa, are also married. Sorunaru is a master of ‘cyber-marionettes’ – technically robotic combat units – and had been dispatched to try to restrain Ryoko Hakubi. However, Sorunaru’s mission didn’t exactly go all too well. After he made the mistake of ridiculing and insulting her... as well as telling her about an arranged marriage between Tenchi and Mihoshi (which was a complete lie), Ryoko was able to easily and brutally defeat the units Sorunaru sent after her... even after downing an entire barrel of sake! As a result, Sorunaru was, for a brief time, unable to deal with the shock of his defeat, and was briefly hysterical as a result.
