Yukiya Minabe
A 17-year-old shy and mysterious boy who spends most of his time indoors. A childhood friend of Akira, he is very wise because he looks up things immediately on his "yPad," but because he has no actual experience in many things, he is often considered sheltered. He never misses having at least one hour of nap time a day. Of all the members of his club, he is the most creative and inventive among his fellow club member, he is always seen inventing and modifying all kinds of qwerky contraptions that has been featured in most episodes, which also include a working "X-ray Glasses" that Souma has been desiring a lot, he also invented Souma's indestructible eyeglass frame. However he is also a bit clumsy that he would sometimes get himself into some small accidents. Yukiya's favorite kind of glasses are metal top-rimmed glasses, and his vision is 0.01 in both eyes.
