The grandson of the Pope, he is impudent and cocky. However, he possesses a high sense of duty and eventually grows to become more caring. Spoiler He eventually marries Elinalise Dragonroad and they have a son named Clive together. Cliff vows to get rid of Elinalise's curse of dying if she doesn't have sex after a period of time and spends much time researching on that matter. He is now able to suppress the curse for a whole year. In the meantime, he also works to dispel Orsted's curse that causes humans to automatically hate and fear him. It has progressed to the point where it is suppressible, but Orsted must wear a helmet with no visor in order for the solution to take effect. He also later becomes the lead developer along with Zanoba Shirone in creating a prosthetic arm dubbed "Zariff's Prosthetic Arm."
