Satsuki Takigawa

She is a brash young girl who often takes the lead of Ichika and the other friends. A painful memory causes her to avoid most boys, despite her seemingly strong personality. Satsuki has an older brother, with whom she apparently gets along well, despite the fact that they bicker a fair bit. Satsuki appears to be jealous of Keiko's interest in a boy. She gets depressed after seeing Keiko kissing a boy she meets during a festival. However, during the course of the series, it is revealed that Satsuki may be secretly in love with Keiko, and her jealousy was not because she lost the boy to Keiko, but because she lost Keiko to that boy.
