Kirinoha

A Youkai who, in the fifth episode, mistakes Natsume Takashi for Natsume Reiko and asks for his name back. Kirinoha's name isn't in the Book of Friends and as the episode progresses it seems that Reiko has played numerous amounts of pranks on him. However Natsume does his best to prove that isn't so, even to the extent of fainting due to sickness and exhaustion. While Reiko was alive, he told her that he wanted to see the sea. However, being born from the forest, he believes that he isn't allowed to leave the forest. Spoiler His name was on branch that was on top of a very tall tree. Reiko told Kirinoha that he has to wait 50 years before retrieving his name or else a series of catastrophic events will occur. When Kirinoha climbed to the top to retrieve his name, he was able to see the sea. It seems that Reiko played pranks on him so that one day, when he does retrieve his name, he will be able to see the sea.
