Toshiyuki Nishino
Toshiyuki Nishino was an anime-only character who appeared in episode 151. He composed music that he posted on a personal computer network that Ami stumbled upon, using the initials "N.T." as his personal artist name. Ami wrote poetry that was inspired by his music, and finally met him in person when she saw him perform in a cafe. Toshiyuki worked with his business partner and assumed lover, Kyouko, in a studio that gave piano lessons because of the little pay playing for an audience provided. Despite the work-intensive nature of both jobs, he enjoyed it because it was closer to his dream of being a world-famous composer. When she met Toshiyuki and Kyouko, Ami was reluctant to show them her poetry because of the dedication to music the two of them shared, as she simply wrote her poetry for the mere amusement of it.
