Teoro

Teoro is a villager who quickly becomes friends with Hakuoro (who he refers to as 'An-chan'). His weapon is a woodcutter axe. His wife is a bossy blonde woman named Sopoku, who is always scolding him for skipping out on his work or being drunk. He becomes one of Hakuoro's two chief lieutenants during the rebellion, though he admits that he is better at soldiering than tactics. After the rebellion, Teoro returns the Yamayura with his wife and friends, saying that he was born and raised there, so it's his only true home. Spoiler Just before Kuche-Ketchum's attack on Kakuoro's alliance meeting, Teoro suddenly arrives to warn him about the impending attack. Unbeknownst to anyone though, as everyone leaves the audience hall the defend the castle, Teoro succumbs to fatal wounds he apparently received while fleeing from the Kuche-Ketchum advance.
